Each year at its national conference, NACDS presents a lifetime achievement award. In an unprecedented twist, the organization decided to honor two individuals in one year.

We were hired to concept and write two very different videos about two quite similar lives. Moreover, we had to gather all of the information in secret, to help ensure the winners had no idea they’d won until the lights dimmed and the video started playing.

Extracting visually interesting and narratively meaningful themes from each life story, we varied the voice, pacing and effects to create two strikingly different yet fitting presentations. The winners, their families and our client were delighted with the final products.
