OPEN:
(1) Establishing split-screen shot shows two men from two obviously different offices seated at their desks. The office of dial-up guy on the left is antiquated, while the office on the right is very sleek and modern.

(1) NAT SOUND (OR SILENCE)

(2) Two RFPs come flying in from off camera and land simultaneously on the desks of both men.

(2) ANNOUNCER VO: (Sam Elliot-type, rough and tough)
ONE PROPOSAL…TWO COMPETITORS

(3) Camera closes in on RFPs.

(3) SFX: Whip crack and “Yah!”

MUSIC: Western-style, dramatic, building suspense throughout

(4) Competitors pick up the RFPs, look at them briefly and then turn to face each other and scowl in the split screen, as if they were really looking at each other in the same room.

(4) FOR A SMALL BUSINESS, SURVIVIN’ MEANS BEIN’ FAST ON THE DRAW.

(5) Wipe to show dial-up guy starting to work. He is panicked, typing feverishly and trying desperately to get online.

(5) SFX: Screeching sound of a dial-up modem struggling to connect.

(6) Dial-up guy quickly gets frustrated.

(6) BUT THAT OLD DIAL-UP IS TOO DANG SLOW.

SFX: Screeching sound of a dial-up modem still struggling to connect.

(7) Cut to shot of broadband guy working calmly. Each time he clicks his mouse (in an exaggerated fashion), a different video tile comes onto the screen to show just what he is doing with his broadband connection: interacting with other people, gathering video, graphics, etc.

(7) ANNCR: CABLE BROADBAND FROM ROAD RUNNER

(8) End the montage of tiles showing broadband guy sending his finished proposal in an instant.

(8) BOOST PROFITS, TOO.

(9) Cut to close-up shot of dial-up guy at the end of his rope – frustrated and visibly defeated. Compress the shot into a small square now on screen with broadband guy.

(9) STICK WITH DIAL-UP…

(10) Reveal broadband guy with his boots up on desk.

(10a) He takes one foot off the desk and uses the heel to knock the compressed video completely off the bottom of the screen.

(10) AND YOU MIGHT END UP ON RE-BOOT HILL.

(10a) SFX: Cartoon-like gunshot with ricochet as broadband guy kicks dial-up guy off screen.

(11) Cut to close-up shot of broadband guy blowing a bit of smoke off his computer mouse – like it’s a smoking revolver.

(11) CALL NOW…

MUSIC: Shifts from tension-filled spaghetti western to more lighthearted “Happy Trails” –type fare.

(12) CLOSE:
Cut back to long shot of broadband guy with his feet on the desk. He occupies one-third of the screen. The rest of the screen features local tag and customization.
