It was a tall order for a 30-second TV spot: portray
a causal link between famine and war and powerfully convey the importance
of agricultural research in preventing both. Oh, and the visuals had to
rely on the client’s limited archive footage.
We rose to the challenge, concepting and writing an elegantly stark script.
The client was pleased, and later commissioned us to write a lengthy press
release on the impact of agricultural research in restoring Central America
after Hurricane Mitch.
